Riverside STEAM Club

Riverside STEAM Club offers a structured experience with qualified instructors leading 45-55 minute classes focused on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education. Students are provided with an engaging and educational environment with the goal to offer a variety of classes allowing them to select those that interest them the most.

Before the classes, we begin with group activities focused on character development and team building, fostering qualities such as kindness, empathy, and integrity.

Afterwards, children divide into groups based on their interests and instructor availability into classes that may include art and handicrafts, music, engineering experiments, entomology, mythology, and more. Each session we have new classes based on the skills and availability of the instructors.

Following the three class blocks, there's an optional social hour, where we gather under the covered area for lunch and free time on the playground.

As a co-op, we value parent participation. Parents choose an assignment that aligns with their interests and abilities. This will only require 10-15 minutes of time per week and helps foster a sense of community without overwhelming stress or strain.

We serve families with at least one child 8+, though we have classes available to all ages, so younger siblings are also able to attend.
