Wild School

Wild School offers a loosely structured and unique outdoor learning experience that fosters a sense of community, connects children with nature, and encourages a child-led approach to learning based on their interests. We nurture creativity and self-expression through art and handicraft work, inspiring your children to unleash their imagination. Children will learn through hands-on experiences and outdoor exploration.

Wild School also offers an achievement patch program, designed to help gain valuable skills and in-depth knowledge about the natural world. Activities cover topics like first aid, animal tracking, campfire building, night sky exploration, plant identification, and more.  Achievements are personalized to participants' interests and abilities, with badges earned through suggested recommendations and nominations from parents, which symbolize passion and dedication in discovery.

As a co-op, we value parent participation. Parents choose an assignment that aligns with their interests and abilities. This will only require 10-15 minutes of time per week and helps foster a sense of community without overwhelming stress or strain.

We serve families with at least one child 3+ with younger siblings also welcome to participate. We value mixed-age play and learning. From curious preschoolers to adventurous teenagers, we offer activities that cater to children of all ages and abilities.
